| Mediterranean restaurant which is popular among familes. It is a
good option for larger groups due to their large seating area and group
menus. They serve a delicious roast platter that has lots of selection
and lots of substance. (Group menus must be ordered in advance, min 6
people) |

Have been twice and would consider going back on my next Whistler visit.
It was great for the kids as well. They have a good kids menu as well as
crayons etc. It was a bit pricey but not outrageous. Still worth it. The
only dessert I tasted was soggy. I can't remember what it was called
(Italian name). Being more of a roadhouse kinda person it was above
average for me.

Caramba was a very poor experience. Service was very poor, everything
was overpriced ($9 for a simple, small house salad), bread was only
brought on request, and then it was cold and only 2 small slices slipped
between the folds of a napkin? My dining partner had the grilled rainbow
trout - too bad the kitchen did NOT know how to bone a trout. Most of
the meal was spent picking bones. I had the small woodfired Penne -
which was very small at $9.50 and very over-seasoned.
Try someplace else - everything is overpriced in Whistler, but there are
some good, small restaurants that are not trying to be upscale and
failing miserably |
