2 Bedroom was spartan in design but everything worked right. Front desk very
friendly and helpful. One single small elevator for the whole place was real
odd. Easy walking distance to village. Nice lobby. Convenient shuttle service in
beat up old van gets you up and over the short walking hill to the entry gate of
the village, readily available during ski hours.

Very nice hotel in a perfect location ( 5 minutes walk from the village). Rooms
are outdated but large with kitchen, fireplace, living room area etc. Rooms got
cleaned every day. Staff at the hotel is very pleasant and helpful. Overall,
great experience.

Just came back from a week in Whistler. Due to the differences in the xmas
school break between Ontario and BC the first week in January was being
discounted. The place was affordable (a real problem in Whistler as it is one
expensive place at holiday times).
Well with a family of four (two teenagers) I leaped at the deal. Astounding
result, not only could we afford it but the two bedroom condo unit had tons of
room, was clean, usable with a full kitchenette and quietly located near the
hill. And as if that wasn't enough we had hot tubs, saunas, fire place and a
heated pool to enjoy. The staff even new where to eat-out economically in the
village as well.
We'll be back! (Hopefully the stars will align again for the out-of-phase
holiday dates.)

This lodge was close to the hill but not right in the action which is perfect
for us. We like to be able to walk away and have a quiet night if we choose. We
got a great deal on a 2 bed 2 bathroom room with a balcony. The staff were
friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again!

Great value for anyone travelling in a group that wants a nice apartment to
relax in with fireplace and lounge to put your feet up. Spacious, clean,
convenient ad good value for money. Only problem is the single beds are too
small for 6ft adults.

The Tantalus Lodge in Whistler was a lot nicer - that the photos on the website.
Usually it is the other way around. We were pleasantly surprised. We had such
amazing weekend of nesting as a couple. 2nd floor i bedroom unit. 680 sq ft. The
wood burning fireplace was a treat, and they are hard to find in Whistler as
most are Gas Fireplaces. bed was plush and comfy. The staff were so pleasant and
knowledgeable. I give the staff an A+ for being so warm and welcoming.
Booked it through the whistler Blackcomb hot deals section of the website at
$86.00 + tax per night. What an incredible deal !!

The Tantalus Resort Lodge is a friendly place to stay and is great value for
money. It has a family feel to it, not an impersonal chain, it is small and has
its own charm. It is near to the Westin so it is minutes walk from the Main Ski
Lifts and Whistler Village. The rooms are clean and spacious and comfortable.
Even has a real fire - very romantic! . If you are looking for a different kind
of place, not your cookie-cutter condo then this would be it. We have been to
various other places, as we visit Whistler 2-3 times a year, this is definitely
our place of choice. They do great deals as well at certain times of the year.

We booked a one bedroom place during the summer for a little weekend getaway. We
have stayed here before and had a really great experience and room the first
time. The room we got this time had a few token upgrades, but the carpet had
little burns in the living room and a big pee stain just outside the bedroom
door. I assume that this room was considered a 'pet friendly' room as the people
beside us had a dog and of course the big pee stain on the carpet. Even thought
this stain was 'cleaned up' and the rest of the place was clean, it gave an
overall impression of a unclean room. On the plus side on the second night we
asked if we could unlock the second bedroom so that we could put our little one
in a separate bedroom to us. They did this happily, so we were not inclined to
complain about the pet stains. We will come again, but will double check we are
not in the same room (so sorry i don't have the room number with me as i write
this). Another saving grace was the wonderful comy bed!

We are regulars at this hotel, usually stay 2 or 3 times a year.
It is nice to see they keep upgrading the hotel & the staff have been there for
years and know the town & the hotel inside and out.
Overall, it is a friendly, clean, and comfortable place to stay at prices that
can't be beat. We even saw a bear in the hotel driveway this time! This is not
the Four Seasons, but it isn't Four Seasons pricing either!
Yes, the parking fee is a pain but it seems everyone in Whistler is charging it.
I noticed a few signs outside the Westin & Crystal Lodge for $24 self parking,
makes $17 a bit easier to bare.

We used the hotel for a large convention and I shared the room with 3 other men.
Very spacious rooms, clean and well maintained. Staff very friendly. It's not
right in the village but only a short walk away. Dog friendly, family friendly
with full kitchens. I would stay here again!

The 2 rooms suite was perfect for our time in the great small city of Whistler!
There was a full kitchen that was just right to prepare a nice and good meal
before leaving for the day. The rooms have great space, nice amenities and the
hotel staff was very friendly and helpful.
Good size pool and Jacuzzi. The distance from the Village is so small that you
dont want even take the car with you. Takes you about 7 minutes walk to the
gondola station.
Room Tip: If you stay in the second floor you dont need even to wait elevator to
get out and enjoy the city. Ensure you get a kitchen so you can save time and
money with small meals and a good breakfast before a full day activity around
the hotel.
