I stayed here in Nov 2011. It had started to snow but the full ski season hadn't
started yet so we were given a free upgrade to the 1 room apartment. The
location is good as the edge of the village and walking distance to everywhere,
the breakfast was great, with a filling breakfast bar, lovely Aveda toiletries,
fireplace, rooms are a good size, great views. The staff are very friendly, It
was everything we could have asked for.

Excellent weekend stay - facility, staff, and location exceeded expectations.
Breakfast buffet extensive. Outdoor hotubs (yes, two) have good views of the
mountains. Ski valet service flawless. Room outstanding. Gas fireplace. Deep
bathtub. Super-comfortable bed. Even a balcony with room for two chairs+

I found no problems with this hotel, our company paid for about 10 of us to stay
in the penthouse suite which made it grand. Found the prices and if you are
coming with a group of 10, it is relatively cheap per person. You get a nice
kitchen, living and dining area open concept, we counted 4 decks + 3 hidden
decks if you are adventurous ;) The complimentary breakfast is great. This is my
key concern with most hotels. It passed.

Stayed here the week before Christmas. Property is as advertised. Great service,
location, spacious rooms and facilities. Well maintained. 5-star without being
stuffy. Not true ski-in, ski-out if that's important to you but they have
lockers at the Mountainside Pan Pacific for you to use.

We spent 6 nights in this hotel.
The bedroom was big enough for 4, with 2 tv's and a lovely fireplace.
We had a kitchen in our bedroom that helped a lot to eat cheap and healthy food.
Theres no restaurant in the hotel, but Earls (a great restaurant) make
deliveries.
The facilities seems like new and still in good shape.
The hotel is about 100m (by the charming village) away from the slopes but they
provide lockers in the slopes.
They provide Internet free of charge

We've loved every second of our stay here. This particular hotel is brilliant
because it's right in the village, so you can walk everywhere! There's FREE WiFi,
FREE breakfast - both big bonuses for us. Each afternoon the manager hosts
complimentary welcome drinks, and it's been a lovely chance to meet management
and staff for a chat about all things Whistler and in general.
The level of service, cleanliness and facilities is *top* here. Particular
thanks go to staff who went above and beyond with advice and assistance for us -
Rik Parker, Matt Livingstone, Michael Hazelton, and of course the lovely GM we
met yesterday, Jim Douglas.
We'd highly recommend this hotel - it's really perfect for anyone's needs.

My stay at the Pan Village Centre was perfect from start to finish! I came up
for two nights for a friend’s wedding in August and stayed in a stunning suite
with a fully equipped kitchen. The entire hotel, from lobby to suite, was
meticulously cleaned and well-maintained, which I strongly value in a hotel. The
staff were warm, welcoming, friendly and very accommodating. In addition, the
hotel provided a shuttle service to and from the wedding reception. The Pan made
my weekend seamless and enjoyable.
I came back to Whistler two months later in October and stopped by the Pan to
see if I had left a necklace behind—I had misplaced a necklace my grandfather
had gifted my mother when she was 16. I didn’t think I had left it there, but I
figured it was worth checking since I was passing by the hotel anyway. The
staff, as friendly as in August, scanned their lost-and-found records and
determined a necklace matching my description was left behind during the weekend
of my previous stay. Within minutes, a wide-smiling staff member emerged from
the back room holding my necklace. I was thrilled beyond words and am eternally
grateful!
I came back to Whistler for Cornucopia in November and stayed at the Pan
Mountainside and experienced the same amazing service and facilities as the
Village Centre. The suite was beautiful, the kitchen was fully equipped, the
staff were extremely attentive.
The service, friendliness and cleanliness are unmatched by the other resorts
I've stayed at in Whistler and I would happily spend every subsequent trip to
Whistler at either Pan location.

This is the only place we stay now in Whistler. Staff is great, location is A+,
it's a smaller hotel so there is not the sprawling lobby and restaurants to
contend with. Great little pool and hot pools too. Buffet breakfast is all you
need to start the day and if you need more go somewhere else or make something
in your kitchen, it's that simple. Met the G.M. one night at the Managers
reception and he was a very down to earth guy and was truly concerned that his
guests were having a nice time. Love the locker at Mountainside for all the
gear. I am not a huge fan of dogs in hotels but they allow it. I am thinking
they are designated rooms because there was no pet smell anywhere.
Great hotel!!

With such great reviews, we expected a lot. This hotel exceeded all our
expectations - and then some. A huge suite with a full kitchen caught us
off-guard. Everything looked brand new and immaculate. The staff were
delightful, breakfast was really good, location superb. I liked that the car was
parked and we didn't need it in Whistler. The bargain price was probably because
we were there between seasons. I can't wait 'til ski season - Pan Pacific will
be our choice.

We stayed at the Pan Pacific for one night on a weekday, check in was easy and
we were greeted by their friendly staff, we were able to check-in a few hours
early, given recommendations for sight-seeing and dinner, and we were also
upgraded to a one-bedroom suite which was a nice surprise (very impressed!). The
location is great! Nice views of the mountains, shopping and places to eat at
your door-step, not to mention the ski-lifts are a brief walk through the
pedestrian mall. The room was well appointed and comfortable, more than we
needed but we weren't complaining. Breakfast was free and delicious! and there
was quite a few options offered. And the staff in the dinning room were very
friendly. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we'll be back for sure! |
