My husband and I stayed here for initially four nights and got a great deal online with pre booking. When we arrived straight away we knew we would enjoy it. We were really early checking in, we were aware of that, but the reception girls arranged for us to check in within the hour which was considerate and gave us time to check in to our rental place for gear.
When we returned we were greeted again by the very bubbly Australian receptionists, who were great throughout our entire stay, even stopping to ask us how our trip was when they were leaving at the end of their shifts, absolutely lovely girls.

I really enjoyed chatting with them to them in the morning to get our boards, which they stored for us. Tthey always asked with great interest how our day had been on our return. A real asset to the place.

We had a Trail View Studio and it was gorgeous. It had a high ceiling, lovely fire place and underfloor heating in the bathroom, which had a huge soaker tub.
The decor and bedding was luxurious but subtle and so cosy. We had a flat screen we could move so we could snuggle up in bed and watch a movie - heaven.

It also had a small hideaway kitchenette which was pure genius, It was essential in the morning for our pre mountain coffee. We had great fresh coffee supplied and a Fridge, microwave and basic utensils (corkscrew included - phew) even the work surface was granite. The attention to detail was spot on.

After a hard day on the mountains I was always so relieved to get back to our room, which had the feel of a mini apartment. In fact my husband found it hard to get me out again for dinner. I was more than content to get some cheeses and wine and sit by the fire in the evening and relax.

We both have stressful jobs back home and we were very ready for this vacation. For the first time in months I could actually feel my body and mind decompressing from the usual rush and hurry of daily life. This money cannot buy.

We had left a few days at the end of our trip to 'wing it' - we normally do this on our trips - but hubby and I didn't take long to decide we wanted to spend those extra nights at Nita Lake. We even got a nice follow on deal from the reception crew. We spent one night in Squamish nearby though before we returned - when we checked in again we requested the same room and we were greeted with a nice card and a plate of handmade chocolates made at the hotel. It was lovely.

I cannot rate this place highly enough - we were so lucky to have chosen it as when you are looking at all the options for Whistler it can be overwhelming. We chose it as the reviews had been glowing all round. I am writing my review as without a doubt this place is now an all time favorite of ours.

I was actually sad to leave and when I returned home to the job again, after a particularly crazy day whined to my husband "I just want to go back to Nita Lake!"

If you are in any doubt about booking this place - don't be. 100% all round, staff, facilities, decor. We can't wait to go back.

Oh AND it is an easy five minute walk, if that, to the Creekside gondola. We rented stuff from Can-Ski which is right there also and Nita Lake has a private locker room below the rental store. Take a padlock as they have free lockers for guests - you gain entry with your room card. - Nice!

We booked our stay last minute on the Edge card deals website. We arrived late and ended up staying at the hotel for dinner instead of going out. The restaurant was AMAZING. The food, the service, and the view of the lake. Not only did the food taste great but it had exceptional value. The room was beautiful and the bedding was beyond comfortable. Il be staying here again for sure.

I stayed her after purchasing a Groupon deal earlier this year. The groupon included one night in a basic room, 2x 50 min massages and a $25 dining credit (which we did not use because it was only good for the fine dining restaurant anyways $$$$). We upgraded to a larger room to accommodate 3 people, as well as added a second night. The resort seemed extremely quiet For being December (not a bad thing). our massages were awesome, bring your bathing suit with you for the hot tub and steam room! The rooms were beautiful but don't expect much of a kitchen, a microwave, french press, kettle and fridge are provided. Also, the one bedroom suit is an open concept with no bedroom door, so i don't suggest this for 2 couples. Huge bathrooms, wish i had time to try the tub! Also, even in the snow Creekside is just a 5 minute walk, there you can find a few pubs and restaurants.

We've stayed twice now and enjoyed most of the services including Fix Cafe, Cure Lounge, and the Aura dining room, spa and birthday cake service. The lodge and studio decor were delightfully west coast with lots of dark stone but very fresh. The room was very comfortable as well. The location is wonderful - located on the shore of a small lake on a chain of trails around a string of lakes: great west coast atmosphere and excellent for walking & cycling.

All the restaurants had superb quality of food and each one a unique experience. The baked goods - in all their forms - were especially memorable. They make their own charcuterie and fantastic bread. They sell this in the cafe and some little gourmet cheese packs etc so you can make your own picnic. The Aura restaurant is superb and, IMHO, head & shoulders above most of the high rated restaurants in the village. Good value too for the quality of food. The staff were warm and helpful too.

Now for most people, Whistler is a "travel to" destination. However, as someone who lives in Pemberton (20 min away) and works in Whistler, I wanted to feel as if I had "gotten away" from it all on our "stay-cation" ;) Nita Lake Lodge was the perfect solution and a wonderful spot to celebrate my hubby's birthday! Right from the beginning, we were made to feel special and welcome! We chose the "Date Night" package which catered to our need for some kid-free time as well as our wallet! A beautiful, lake view room, an amazing 3 course dinner at Aura and breakfast the next morning! Not to mention all of the little complimentary "birthday treats" that really personalized the visit for us! All I can say is "WOW"!!! I will definitely be back and I won't hesitate to recommend this hidden gem to everyone I can!

Authentic, luxurious mountain lodge retreat/resort in whistler BC which is absolutely fabulous! I appreciated the location - the lake is lovely. The staff are very helpful and welcoming. The rooms are equipped with all you need, are stylishly appointed and comfortable. The food is locally sourced where possible, excellently prepared - and the cocktails are creative and delicious. Try a sleepy frog cocktail - excellent! Also the pumpkin soup and charcuterie selections are fantastic!

I wrote a nice long detailed review about how great this hotel is but tripadvisor lost it when I had to retrieve my password. Suffice to say it is one of the best hotels in
Whistler

We checked in on Friday, a family of four + small dog, and were upgraded to a 2 bedroom suite. SWEET! It was gorgeous. Great location, on a lake AND walking distance to the Whistler Creekside gondola. Each room has a king bed, and the bedroom on the second floor is quiet AND dark. Thank you! The bathrooms are amazing, heated floors and Frette towels. The shuttle service so convenient. Those who complain about the parking charge should comparison shop, the Westin charges $35. The front desk was friendly. Our $35 3 course dinner in the restaurant was delicious and the service did not subtract from the experience. Sven was our waiter, and he was pleasant and knowledgeable.

Friends came to visit with us and ate dinner with us in the restaurant. They left swearing "next time at Nita Lake Lodge."

If I needed to complain or offer a suggestion it would be:
1. have a year round pool
2. offer ski valet from the slopes...arrange to have someone at the bottom of Whistler Village and Creekside to take the skis from guests
3. it was $10+ for an apple juice and bagel with lox and cream cheese....ouch
4. nice guy offers to bring our car up from the garage, comes to bring me the keys and leaves...leaving us with a luggage cart full of bags and skis. Ironically I was prepared to give him a $5 tip...until he walked away.
5. dust the tops of the baseboards
