Right in the village. 3 minute walk to gondolas. For the price, should have hot
tub in facilities. Expected better service...floor leaked from above from heavy
rain and was only discounted $5. And hotel not apologetic. Luckily, it was our
last day. Location made stay worthwhile.

I stayed here in Dec/Jan 2012 which was through the New Year period and
therefore the hotel was full and busy. The hotel staff on checkin were helpful
and efficient, and the room i had was a studio on the village stroll side. Other
reviews on this hotel noted the noise from the street, and the very loud fan
wall heater.....I have to agree with both these comments but a pair of earplugs
solved this problem easily enough. Towards the end of my stay my ceiling
developed a leak from the room above, but the hotel manager resolved this and
moved me to an upgraded room quickly and efficiently which i moved to. The
second room was a loft on the backside of the hotel and this was definitely a
better option. Much quieter and a better layout. Skis could either be left
downstairs in the locker or in your room and this was hassle free. Internet was
via hotspot, but only $30 for a month so not a big deal. Overall ( and despite
the points noted) I really enjoyed my stay, and the location really clinched it
for me. I would definitely return but would try and get a loft room on booking.

This is not the hotel for you if you are a light sleeper. We stayed in a loft
room on the third floor where you could feel the vibration of the air handling
unit located on the roof overhead somewhere. Stuff in the room actually rattled.
We were told the fan shut down at night, but it only did so on 3 of our 7 nights
spent.
The noise of the heater in the wall of the room by the seating area was even
louder and more annoying since it cycled on and off continuously. The only
solution was to turn it off and put an extra blanket on the bed since it got
chilly by morning.
The third deterrent to a good night's sleep was the last call crowd emptying out
of the bars at 2am. If you go to Whistler to ski rather than party all night,
this is not so good.
As others have mentioned, it is also a pain dragging your bags up and down the
half staircases linking the different sections of the hotel.
We are not likely to go here again.

My girlfriend and I were looking for a relaxing weekend before the busy winter
season. We settled on this hotel after finding a great deal on Groupon. Overall
the stay was nice and location was ideal. We stayed in their one Bedroom Loft.
The only true negative was the noise leve of the heater, it woke my girlfriend
up a few times and we both wore ear pugs on the second night.
The Good:
- Location!!!
- Friendly staff, few minutes after checkin they called to make sure everything
was ok
- Wood burning Fire place was nice (But no fire wood was provided)
- Flat screen TV (but no DVD player)
- Shower was a nice size
- The room over look the village was nice for people watching
- Check in was fast (BTW the front desk is actually an office desk, I walk past
it the first time).
The Not So Good:
- The one bedroom loft is smaller than it sounds. The upstairs loft bed room was
just big enough for the bed (one side right against the wall), night stand is at
the foot of the bed. No view of the TV from upstairs.
- Main floor is also smaller than expected, but perfect for two people. Anymore
you would get in each other’s way.
- Kitchen was also small, mini refrigerator, 2 burner stove (It's basicly a
counter in the living room, you turn around and you are in the living room),
there is no dinning table or island for eating.
- Internet connection was good but cost extra (around $5 per day)
- Parking is underground but don’t feel secure.
Over all it is a good hotel with amazing location but if price is the same I
would recommend the Sundial hotel with secure parking and the one bedroom suit
that is double the size.

Nice place for a young couple.
Firstly, let me say we had a great stay and the Executive Inn and I've
recommended it to a number of my friends, but there are a couple of things I'll
get out up front that might make it less suitable for older or less mobile
people.
Stairs and access - Despite having a lift, once out of the lift we had to
negotiate a flight of stairs as well as a couple of sets of 2-3 stairs before
making it to our room, this wasn't a problem for us being healthy 30-ish and
able bodied, but it could cause issues for less mobile people. It looked like
there were rooms available where you wouldn't have to negotiate the additional
stairs, so if you're not keen on the stairs, perhaps request one of those rooms
when booking. Also, the way the bathroom door opened inwards on our room left
about 30cm (1 foot) to squeeze by to get into the shower, again, not a problem
for us, but worth consideration for larger or less mobile people.
Now, onto the good stuff - Like I said, we had a great stay and will certainly
stay here again when next in Whistler.
We had a loft room, which was very spacious down stairs housing the bathroom,
kitchen facilities and lounge room (plus a balcony) with the small bedroom area
upstairs. The bedroom is tight with basically the bed tucked in and a small
tall-boy for storage, but don't worry there is plenty of storage around the room
for everything that you might have on your trip.
The living area downstairs was nice and comfy, complete with a nice big TV and a
real fire, as well as a good air con/heating unit that had no trouble keeping
the room at whatever temp we wanted.
Everything else was great too, the room was kept super clean and well serviced
by the housekeeping staff - They were also quite friendly and always greeted us
with a smile when we passed them in a hallway, front of house staff were
friendly and helpful too, and the location is right in the middle of the
Whistler Village so everything is right at your doorstep, less than 5 minutes
walk to shops, entertainments and of course the ski lifts!
The only tip I can offer potential visitors is to book a package that includes
parking etc all in the one price, it seems to save you quite a bit over booking
the room individually, then adding on the extras.
Room Tip: If you're less mobile, be sure to ask for a room with no extra stairs
to access it once you're out of the lift.

From the outside this hotel doesn't look too great, but inside it's super great.
Rooms are tiny, but really quaint and unique. I had a suite with a little
kitchenette, and the living room area was super cozy w/ a fireplace. Then
upstairs was a little loft w/ the bed. Beware tall people, lower ceilings and
the bed fits exactly into the little nook it's in (3 surrounding walls).
My only complaint is you need to go up stairs to get to most of the rooms, the
elevators take you to the floor, but there were 3 additional sets of stairs I
had to climb to get to my room.
Also, no free wifi, but there is a Starbucks across the little stroll area
(Village Stroll) with free wifi.

We booked a room with queen bed for $75 plus tax via Expedia and received a
really really nice room with full kitchen, balcony, walk in shower and even
bathrobes.
The only annoying thing was $22.40 for parking (I think there might be cheaper
public parking in the village but not sure) and another $10 for Wifi access.
So great place to stay at BUT add $20-30 to the room charge before committing.
