We stayed at Delta for a week during the New Year in the deluxe one bedroom
suite. Based on the reviews posted on the web, we have submitted a request for
specific details related to room location, configuration, etc., which are
important to us.
We could not have been happier with what was arranged for us.
Hotel’s location is great, the shuttle service is well organized (thanks Brant
for making our rides to and from the hotel so interesting and entertaining!).
Our room was well maintained and clean. The bed was very comfortable, the
bathroom was roomy enough, and the water pressure in the shower was good. There
were plenty of towers and every request made for additional “anything” was
addressed right away.
The front desk staff (thanks Stacey, Charlie and Bill!) was always ready to help
with all inquiries and questions, and arrange housekeeping for specific time of
the day. The concierge staff (thanks Marilyne & Azusa!) was very well informed
about all the aspects of Whistler experience and suggested / arranged dinning,
activities, and entertainment.
All in all, our stay at Delta greatly enhanced our vacation at Whistler.

The Village is probably the best in North America but it is the most crowded
lift system I have ever skied. Unless you go for a day heli you will only get
what the hounds have left - nothing fresh is left anywhere after about 9:15am
unless you climb into shutes.
The only glitch with the hotel is the tin roof which is very noisy when it rains
- which it does down in the village

We were in this hotel for 2 nights in January 2012. The reception and the
bedrooms are nice but in building 2 there is only 1 small elevator for the whole
building, including for the car park. We had to take it to go to the spa and
swimming pool area and we had to wait for ages in the lobby, in front of the
entrance of a bar and restaurant --it was freezing and busy -- and everyone see
you in your dressing gown, and then you have to walk a long and cold corridor
with glass windows all along, so that whole bar can see you half naked.
Someone stole both our dressing gowns with our bedroom card, so we had to go
with a small towel to the reception, (on a busy Saturday night) to get a new
key, because the staff near by the swimming pool wouldn't go for us.
Not a great hotel, especially for the price we paid.

Nice hotel, friendly staff, the location is very convenient, close to the ski
hill, the room has got basically all you need, and it's clean.
The hotel also has got good facilities out of the room : I really enjoyed the
sauna and swimming pool in the Health Center .
Thanks for making my stay pleasant.

What an amazing place to stay! The staff was exceptional! Extremely helpful and
resourceful. Richard at the reception desk was the BEST! Our room was perfect,
well stocked with cooking utensils for our Thanksgiving dinner! Yes, we cooked a
turkey! The kids loved the outdoor heated pool and choice of three hot tubs! We
booked a one bedroom deluxe suite and it was the perfect size for our family. I
have to give kudos to the very sweet housekeeping staff. Great Job! We had a
wonderful view of the village and mountains. The only downside was the hooting
and hollering around 1:00am from the partygoers walking around it lasted several
hours each early morning. We will definitely come back!

this is a great hotel staff are all really good and very nice to you, the hotel
rooms are very comfortable which is exactly what you need after a day up black
comb mountain, they have a ski shuttle that meets you at the bottom at night to
take you back and takes you in the morning when you want, you can also walk to
the hotel through the village as we did most of the time and this takes 5 mins
at the most. the hotel pool is amazing its all outside but is like a bath and
open all the time which is great for jet lag, highly recommend this hotel as it
is great

Over the past 6 years in a row, we've had the pleasure of staying at the Delta
Whistler Village Suites Hotel every October. We've found the staff to be
exceptionally helpful, friendly & accommodating to all of our needs. The rooms
are very clean & well appointed with comfortable furnishings & attractive
Navajo/country inspired decor. This year we noticed some upgrades which included
new artwork representing the beautiful mountain landscapes Whistler has to
offer. The suite layouts offer bachelor, 1 bedroom or two bedroom units, all
with full bathrooms. The bachelor suites have a small kitchenette, while the 1 &
2 bedroom units have full kitchens and dining areas, plus full living rooms with
gas fireplaces & covered decks. Views from all the units are of Whistler Village
& mountains, with some overlooking the indoor/outdoor pool and patio area. This
hotel offers guests use of the pool, exercise rooms, sauna & a lovely foyer
lounge with large stone fireplace. There is also a connecting restaurant. The
main village area is right at your doorstep, so the location is perfect for
leisurely strolls or getting to and from the ski lifts within minutes by foot.
There are several high end hotels to stay in at Whistler, but if you are looking
for a great place that feels like home in a great location, the Delta Whistler
Village Suites should definitely be on your list of options.
Room Tip: Rooms facing the pool area may be quieter in the evening. Rooms facing
the village are quite lively at night, but great for people watching while
sipping wine on the deck.

The location is great, the pool and several hot tub is good, this hotel is
relatively quiet and it's easy to kick back and relax.
All of our beds were comfortable and the linen was nice. The room are not
luxurious but offers comfort.
Very well priced! |
