I wish I could give this hotel 10 stars!
We've been traveling to Whistler for the past six years and with the
exception of one year, we've stayed here.
- Terrific staff (did I say terrific? I meant to say
terrific/exceptional staff!)
- Great food and bar.
- An unusual spa - but the Javanese massage is 100 times better than any
hotel massage I've had.
- Great concierge staff.
- Rooms are well appointed and very spacious for Whistler.
- Close to everything (especially the Gondola/lifts).
Zero complaints...
Then this year I was married in Whistler on 12/26...the hotel pulled out
all the stops to make it special....room was decorated (tastefully),
special requests were catered to and staff congratulated us at every
turn. I'd have to single out Tim Koshul and Hilary Owen-Mold (hope I'm
not mis-spelling) for their efforts.
Stay here, trust me..it's the best there is in Whistler!

We went to Whistler for the first time and picked Hilton because of good
location and reviews. However, when we arrived there were no breakfast
even though we are diamond members, we were told many times to go and
see things in the area and when we did things were closed. The heaters
in the room did not work, had to use space heater, got hurt skiing and
wanted to leave early but they refused even though we saw a doctor as we
were told. The manager Chris Boland were discriminating and treating us
like dirt. We asked for a solution and an apology however, Hilton
Whistler refuses to follow their 100 % customer satisfaction guarantee.
Horrible hotel, Horrible customer service, No help. Dirty, No heat. VERY
BAD HOTEL. Stay somewhere else.

The hotel is located very conveniently (about 2 minutes walk) from the
Whistler Gondola in the heart of the village. Right outside the hotel
are shops, restaurants, bars etc.
The rooms were luxurious and really large, but it was slightly dark;
there was insufficient lighting. The bed sheets and towels were thick
and very comfortable and there was an exorbitant amount of soap, shampoo
and conditioner on offer in the hotel rooms. There is complimentary
internet (wired and wireless); room was well-appointed but lacked some
quality installations such as marble/granite etc.
Skis and boots can be stored at the "Summit" shop located 30 seconds
walk from the hotel lobby. The hotel lobby is spacious but the couches
next to the fireplace were very uncomfortable - you could neither sit
straight nor slouch. The hotel has an exercise room, pool, sauna and spa
as well as a really nice and reasonably-priced restaurant and bar. The
restaurant served very good quality food and the service was fantastic!

Stayed one night at the Hilton Hotel Whistler with my wife the week-end
prior to the opening of the ski season. Queen suite was $150 ish for the
night. which was good value. Room was very clean with a fun jacuzzi tub.
The kitchen facilities were nice and well appointed. The hotel is well
located near Whistler village centre. The rooms were quiet and the staff
polite. |
